When a checkered blouse comes to mind you don't think cool - as in outfit cool. You probably say no way , I am going to look like a picnic tablecloth! Second thought is the sightings of a checkered blouse either with denim or daisy dukes which we have all seen many times. This results in a costume look and not stylish.
Currently checkered blouses are a Spring trend . I personally love button down blouses and I think if paired correctly you too can pull off the checkered blouse.
A few rules to keep in mind.
1. Checkers are the focal point so tone everything else down. Don't be matchy matchy.
2.All the shoes I selected are neutral. All the shoes I selected were also edgy and stylish. NO comfort Merrills in this scenario!!! Or cowboy boots. NO NO NO!!
3. Don't go for a relaxed look because you will look like you work on a farm. Go for tight fitting pants or Straight Skirt or A line Skirt with Heels!
4. Selecting Denim is treading on the dangerous side, because of the stereotypes we all have seen for years. Pass on it---
Go for a fresh Spring look and below are some examples I hope help!
